HRC Fuse

The HRC (High Rupturing Capacity) fuse consists of a heat-resistant ceramic body with metal end caps, joined by a silver current-carrying element. The internal cavity is fully packed with a filling powder — typically plaster of Paris, quartz, chalk, marble, or dust — which acts as a cooling medium, allowing the fuse to carry normal current without overheating. During a fault, heat vaporizes the silver element, triggering a chemical reaction between the silver vapor and filling powder that produces a high-resistance substance. This reaction is what quenches the arc, enabling the fuse to safely interrupt fault current.

Insulation Piercing Connectors (IPC)

Insulation Piercing Connectors are suitable for both aluminum and copper conductors. Connector teeth are factory-greased and sealed with rubber to prevent water ingress and corrosion, with contact plates made of tinned brass and bolts in 8.8-grade mild steel, protected with chromium-free Geomet coating. The insulation body is constructed from weather- and UV-resistant glass fiber reinforced polymer, ensuring long-term mechanical and electrical performance. Contact-blade material is selected from tin-brass or high-strength aluminum alloy to optimize the contact transition. Waterproofing is achieved through a high-quality rubber ring combined with silica gel for extended service life.

Cable End Caps

Cable end caps are manufactured from pure polyester and require no tools for installation. They offer strong abrasion resistance, maintaining tight sealing and resiliency even after years of aging and environmental exposure. The design is fully water-resistant, eliminating the need for mastic, electrical tape, gas torches, or heating tools during application. End caps resist fungus, acids, alkalis, and ozone exposure, ensuring long-term durability in harsh outdoor conditions. Despite their resilient sealing properties, the caps remain easy to remove when required, making them a practical, low-maintenance solution for cable termination protection.

Jumper Terminals

Jumper terminals are forged from pure copper shaft material to precise specifications, with the copper body compressed (crimped) around the conductor's outer diameter using industry-standard presses and dies. Holding strength is rated at a minimum of 40% of the conductor's rated breaking strength (RBS). The design supports continuous operating temperatures up to 125°C, with a 150°C two-hour emergency rating. The jumper pad is constructed at a 15° angle, allowing terminal connections to bolt together in either a 0° or 30° configuration. Each kit includes stainless steel hardware: 4 nuts, 4 bolts, 4 lock washers, and 8 flat washers.

Bird Repeller

The bird repeller is constructed from impact-resistant, UV-stabilized pure polymer, rated for operation between -30°F and 160°F, and incorporates fluorescent reflective sheeting capable of emitting glow-in-the-dark light for up to 10 hours. Initial light emission measures 6 lumens per cubic meter, reducing to 1 lumen 1–2 hours after sunset. During daylight, the device refracts sunlight through a diamond-bar material, producing a "sparkle effect" visible to birds and humans up to a quarter mile away. This reflection alters bird flight patterns around marked wires, reducing collisions — particularly critical during sunrise, sunset, and poor-weather conditions when birds are most vulnerable.

Cable Glands

Cable glands are made from pure polyester and butyl rubber, with NBR and EPDM used for internal rubber components, and PG metric threading. They are rated for -40°C to 100°C in static conditions (instantaneous heat resistance up to 120°C) and -20°C to 80°C in dynamic conditions (instantaneous up to 100°C). The claw-and-seal design firmly grips a wide range of cable diameters while resisting salt water, weak acid, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents. This makes them suitable for demanding outdoor and industrial cable entry applications. Available in black, light gray, white, or custom colors upon request.

From a subcontracted role on the KESC Data Center to signaling panels for 94 Pakistan Railways stations, Chemitech's work has always been about closing that distance — between raw material and finished installation, and between what Pakistan imports and what Pakistan can make.
